SINKEX. Ex-USNS Saturn (T-AFS 10) ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 26-27, 2010)
Сатурн почти не виден.
Палубная авиация и корабли охранения американского авианосца USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) расстреляли и утопили в Атлантике судно обеспечения USNS Saturn (T-AFS 10).Судно находилось в эксплуатации с 10 августа 1966 года по 6 апреля 2009 года, 43 года без 4 дней !!!
Первоначально Сатурн входил в состав Королевского флота Великобритании и носил название RFA Stromness ( А344)

Если увеличить фотографию горящего судна, то хорошо просматриваются места попаданий снарядов и ракет, а так же нарисованные голубые силуэты людей на правом крыле ходовой рубки. Нужно отдать должное американцам, судно было полностью приготовлено к затоплению исходя из экологических требований, вплоть до очистки трюмов и топливных трубопроводов, велся контроль наличия морских обитателей в полигоне.

An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9 flies alongside the Virginia-class attack submarine USS New Mexico (SSN 779) with the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) in the distance.
HSC-9 is assigned to the George H.W. Bush Strike Group and is underway in the Atlantic Ocean in support of fleet training operations.
