Indian Ocean 04/05/2010 Russian missile cruiser Pyotr Veliky.

Russian heavy nuclear missile cruiser Pyotr Veliky has held a ceremony dedicated to the start of the St. George Ribbon campaign at the warship. The ceremony began with playing of the Russian anthem and raising of the St. Andrew's flag.

The cruiser's commander, Felix Menkov, and the cruiser's deputy commander for education, Arkady Mogilevets, spoke to their crew of the tribute to Russia’s victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, and presented sailors, sergeants, warrant officers and officers with ribbons.
